i bought britney’s dance beat for ps2 at gamestop for 99 cents. i just played it for the first time and wow! i was transported back to 2002. the point of the game is to audition to be britney’s back-up dancer. boy was i nervous! you must hit the shape buttons when they are highlighted on the radar circle thing to make your player dance. i played as rob, a dreadlocked, wifebeater-wearing, grade A hottie. i made it to round 3 of auditions, and then dan (who was also wearing a wifebeater) beat me in our dance-off. i hope that with time and practice, britney will choose me, rob, to be her #1 back-up dancer.
